OVERLAND PARK, KS — F. Glenn Miller Jr., racist and dirt bag extraordinaire, is a convicted felon. As such, he is prohibited from purchasing, owning or possessing any firearm. That did not stop him from killing three innocent people at two separate Jewish Community Centers last week in Overland Park, Kansas.
Miller, a former member of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK), was a fierce anti-Semite who published his warped and sick views frequently online. In recent years, Miller had been shunned by his KKK buddies–not because he wasn’t racist enough, but because he had testified against them back in 1998 as part of a plea agreement. According to Don Black, a former KKK member, “It doesn’t matter what side you’re on, people don’t like rats. [Glenn Miller had] been a government informant testifying against personal friends of mine. He came back years later and expected to be accepted back in our circles.” Black also said, “He killed Christians. The whole thing was completely insane. His brain has rotted.” It is stunning to me that these kinds of people are still around. I am disgusted by Black and Miller, but I support their First amendment right to speak their mind, no matter how vile.
Miller is reported to have started his shooting spree in the rear parking lot of the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City. His first two victims, William Lewis Corporon, and his grandson, 14 year old Reat Griffin Underwood, were both Christians attending a singing competition being held at the center. After killing Corporon and his grandson, Miller drove to Village Shalom, a Jewish retirement center where he killed Terry LaManno another Christian. LaManno’s mother is a resident of the retirement community. All of the people shot in this horrible crime died of their wounds.
The suspect was arrested in front of Valley Park Elementary by police who had a description of the suspect and his car. Unfortunately, the suspect decided to not kill himself and surrendered to police.
What crime made Miller a felon? Weapons charges as well as a plot to kill the Southern Poverty Law Center’s leader and co-founder, Morris Dees.
Authorities now believe that it was a straw purchase that enabled Miller to get the firearms used in the commission of his crimes. As you know, a straw purchase is a firearm purchase made by an eligible citizen for a person who, for whatever reason, is prohibited from purchasing, owning or possessing a firearm. The person responsible for the straw purchase faces serious charges both for the firearms as well as being an accessory to murder.
My hope is that the police find the person that helped Glenn Miller Jr. and that he/she spends the rest of their life in prison. As for Miller, fortunately, Kansas has the death penalty, and we can only hope that he is executed before he can die in prison.
